Aims
Established in 1995 as Academy
of Planning Supervisors with a
name change in December 2005, to
comply with the revised CDM regulations
2007, The Academy of CDM Project Co-ordinators
was set up to provide an institution
for awareness, advice and training
for individuals, companies or partnerships
wishing to update and consolidate
their vocational experience with
health and safety competence in
order to perform the functions
of Duty Holders under CDM Regulations
1994 (revised 2007) and current
Directives and Regulations. |

training and recognised competence
qualifications for further health
and safety development and assistance
with continuing technical and professional
development certificates. |

MAIN
AIMS
- To revise awareness and
provide standards and code
of conduct for CDM Project
Co-ordinators and other
responsible persons.
- To assist with problems
of Co-ordination and Co-operation.
- To advise Clients and
other Duty Holders of their
legal obligations under
CDM Regulations 1994 (revised
2007) and current Directives
and Regulations.
- To liaise with HSE, ROSPA,
IOSH, NDTG, CITB and other
health and safety training
bodies regarding procedure,
education and training
standards.
